Interests

During the school year I am a part of a few programs in my Jewish community. These programs are about community service, leadership, and education. I also participate in playing sports for my school: tennis and frisbee. I also enjoy playing tennis outside of school with my friends and my mom all year. I am also very interested in artand I hope that next year I will be able to take classes outside of school so that I can continue to improve.

In the summer time I like to experience new things and travel. Last year I went on a six week trip to Israel as part of a teen travel program. The first three weeks I was with an athletic group that spent a lot of time hiking. My favorite hike was a four day hike that went from one side of Israel to the other. The last three weeks were part of a volunteer group. Before last year I spent eight consecutive summers at a sleep away camp, Cedar Lake Camp, which was very special because I spent summers making memories with my best friends in a place that was our home away from home.
